Pete Fisher and Joe Kaufman
Radio Interview on Kol Halev
Fisher and Kaufman discuss Fisher's article
"The CAIR and Jerry Falwell"
(reminiscent of "The Devil and Daniel Webster")
Fisher discusses CAIR director Nihad Awad's recent interview with
Bill O'Reilly and Awad's objections to charity work by Rev. Jerry
Falwell because of Falwell's background. Also discussed are
concerning facts about local governments being pressured to favor
Islamic law.

Fisher said,
"After O'Reilly got Awad to say,
'Okay what Falwell did wasn't anything to cry about...'
but [Awad] said,
'...but knowing [Falwell's] background, ...'
Basically that's what [Awad] is judging Falwell's intent on, and
that's the point of the article:
Well, if we have to use background to judge intent, Mr. CAIR,
let's go to your roots. Let's go to the things that you've
said, let's look at how many of your people are sitting in prison
for ties to terror. Let's look at the money that was supposed to go
to feed the hungry and clothe the needy and see where it's gone. I
think we should go by background if we're doing this, because [CAIR
is] going to bear the heaviest burden of it."
