My ways are not God's
August 15, 2003
I confess that this last week I
wanted to curse a man, just like Paul cursed a man in Acts 13:10. A
man who claims to be Christian, yet twists the Scriptures to pervert
But God didn't tell me to.
I have wanted to further expose
certain organizations that claim to be Christian yet endeavor to lead
children to know other gods. God has given me the ammunition to do it.
But God tells me not to. Yet. And
just like David, I put down the spear over Saul as he slept.
* (1 Sam 26:19)
I have wanted to write a harsh
article to all Christian media that refuse to print the offenses
happening to our children, because it's not politically correct,
insisting on limiting their content to fluff, rather than deal
with public school forcing Christian children to know allah.
But God stops me.
At times I've even asked God if
it's time to
call down fire on a nation that lures school children to other faiths, revels
in homosexuality with gay parades at the very steps of missions,
battles to teach our children perverted sex acts, is the largest worldwide promoter of pornography,
aborts millions of babies a year, ignores child sex slave rings while
obsessing over endangered snails, persecutes believers and continues to mock Him.
(Luke 9:54, for which disciples were severely rebuked)
His answer: "No." God
has given me the message to
post, and my impatience won't change what God has said. It's not my
words, it's His, and I have to be careful not to misrepresent Him.
Thank God for his patience with
My emotions run all over the
board, but God is like a solid Rock, an Anchor, just as so many have
described Him over the centuries.
God's message was short, clear,
simple and firm, and it's huge:
"If you turn
your backs on Me,
I will turn My back on you."
and when that happens
completely, it will be too late to turn back. When GOD gives the word,
it won't waiver, it won't let up, heaven and earth will shudder at
the horror that is to come, it will be as nothing we have ever seen or will see
I can't see the future, but God
does. And what I, in my impatience, THINK I'm ready to see, He knows
the horror I don't realize. God is doing everything to bring as
many as will come, home to Him. And once the last one comes and the
end times begin...no one will be able to stop it.
And in my best moments, after
spending time in His word, fellowshipping with other believers,
singing praise and receiving a flood of compassion for the lost, I see a
glimpse of the intense love He has for them, even for those who work
against Him. Even those who teach children to "appreciate" other gods
IN HIS NAME...God commands me be patient and to pray for them.
Glory to such a God of grace,
that even I could be saved.
*After David takes Saul's spear
and does not kill him, he says in 1 Sam 26:19: "But if it is the
children of men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for they have
driven me out this day from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord,
saying, 'Go, serve other gods.'"
How many deceived "Christian"
educators have told our children to open their textbooks to build
mosques and experience the beliefs of Islam, under the guise of "multiculturism"
or "comparative religion"?
Though I get in trouble when I
pursue my own ways, I asked God about posting "False
Shepherds of Comparative Religion" or "Woe
to Silent Pastors" and expected the usual yank, but it never
happened. I was given full go ahead, and I've seen a few pastors make
a full turn around. All glory to God! With God, all things are
"And when he had opened the
fifth seal, I saw under the altar the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying,
'How long, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our
blood on them that dwell on the earth?'
And white robes were given
unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should
rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and
their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be
fulfilled." (Rev 6:9)
"Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen"
